Apple Pie Smoothie

Apple Pie is a classic. If you love the taste of apple pie then surely you’ll love this smoothie. This is an easy to make smoothie recipe which takes less than 5 minutes. Apples give this smoothie a thick and creamy texture. Cinnamon adds a hint of spice. I hope you’ll like this recipe. This can be the perfect snack or breakfast. Do give it a try. Happy Cooking!

Yield: Serves 2

Ingredients

  • 2 large red apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 2 tbsp sugar, powdered
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • 1 tbsp butter

Cooking Directions

  1. Cut the apples into small pieces.
  2. Heat butter in a non-stick pan on medium flame.
  3. Add the apples and saute for a minute.
  4. Then add 1/2 tsp freshly ground cinnamon powder and 1 tbsp powdered sugar.
  5. Cook till the apples have slightly softened.
  6. Add the apples to a blender. Pour 1/2 cup milk and blend until smooth.
  7. Add fresh cream, 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder,1 tbsp sugar and rest of the milk. Blend again till everything has combined.
  8. Pour the apple pie smoothie into glasses. Garnish with apple slices and cinnamon powder.

Note:

  • If you want to make it a little healthier, then instead of adding fresh cream you can use yoghurt.
