Dalgona coffee is a creamy and frothy beverage that is made with just 3 simple ingredients. This recipe has become quite popular and has taken the internet by storm. So come and join the trend and make this chilled coffee at home.

It is said that dalgona coffee has originated in South Korea but it is quite similar to our Indian “phenti hui” or beaten coffee. But nonetheless, it is an amazing drink! Chilled milk topped with rich and creamy coffee foam, it tastes heavenly! If you have not tried it yet then don’t wait anymore, try this easy recipe now. I’m sure you will love.

To make this drink, whisk instant coffee, sugar and hot water in a bowl until it becomes light and fluffy. Then pour milk and ice cubes in a glass, top it with the whipped coffee mixture. Enjoy!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2 people

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp instant coffee
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2.5 cup chilled milk
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Directions:

In a small bowl, add sugar, coffee and water. Using a whisk or hand blender, beat the mixture until it gets light and fluffy.

Add ice cubes in a glass and pour milk over it. Top it with the beaten coffee mixture.
