Paneer Tikka Rockets | Grilled Paneer and Vegetable Skewers

These paneer tikka rockets are the perfect snack for your Diwali party!

Ingredients
  

  • 500 g paneer
  • 1 red bell pepper cut in cubes
  • 1 yellow bell pepper cut in cubes
  • 1 green bell pepper cut in cubes
  • 1 large-sized onion cut in cubes
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp chaat masala powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Cut paneer in square and triangle shapes. Soak bamboo sticks in water for 1 hour.
  • To make the marinade, take a bowl and add mustard oil. Red chilli powder, garlic paste, ginger paste, black pepper powder, chaat masala powder, garam masala, salt and lemon juice. Give it a good mix.
  • Then add the paneer pieces. Gently mix everything together. Be very careful while mixing the paneer as they might break. Marinate for 1 hour.
  • Thread the paneer and vegetables on wooden skewers. Place the triangle-shaped paneer at the top so it looks like a rocket.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium flame. Place the paneer skewers in the pan and cook for 5-6 minutes. Keep rotating the skewers so they get cooked on all the sides.
  • Sprinkle chaat masala and drizzle a little lemon juice over them. Serve the paneer tikka rockets with coriander chutney.
