Golden Milk Recipe - Quick Immunity Boosting Drink

Golden milk is also known as haldi doodh, turmeric milk or latte. It is a bright yellow coloured Indian beverage that has several health benefits.

  • 1.5 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tbsp ginger powder
  • 2 green cardamom
  • 1/2 inch cinnamon stick
  • 2 black peppercorn
  • 1/2 tbsp honey or sugar


  • In a saucepan, pour milk and heat it over medium flame or temperature.
  • After it comes to a boil, lower the heat/flame. Add turmeric powder, ginger powder, green cardamom, cinnamon stick, black peppercorn and honey. Give it a stir.
  • Then again increase the heat/flame and bring it to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Turn the heat/flame off.
  • Remove the whole spice with the help of a spoon or strain the milk using a tea strainer.
  • Optional Step: Using a hand or electric whisk, beat the milk until it becomes frothy.
  • Pour in the serving glass and enjoy!
