In a wide bowl, add eggs, milk, grated onion, grated ginger, green chilli and salt. Mix well with a fork or whisk.
Heat a pan over medium flame. Pour oil and allow it to heat up.
Dip a piece of bread into the egg mixture. Coat both sides. Make sure the bread soaks the mixture.
Place the soaked bread in the pan.
Dip another piece of bread into the mixture and place that in the pan.
Using a spoon or fork, spread a little onion mixture over the slices.
Cook for a minute or until the bottom side becomes crisp and golden.
Flip both pieces. Cook until they become golden. Then take them out.
Repeat the same process for the other bread slices.
Transfer to a plate. Serve hot with ketchup.
