Easy Besan Laddu Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup besan I have used Rajdhani besan
  • ½ cup powdered sugar I have used store-bought powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup melted ghee
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • ¼ tsp green cardamom powder

Instructions
 

  • In a pan, add besan. Toast for a few seconds over a low flame/heat.
  • Add turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Then pour melted ghee, a few spoons at a time, and mix well.
  • After each addition, you need to stir well and break the lumps by mashing it with the spatula.
  • Continue cooking at low flame until the mixture becomes slightly golden in colour.
  • Add cardamom powder. Mix well.
  • After that take it out in a plate. Keep stirring until the mixture cools down a little.
  • Allow it to come to room temperature.
  • Add powdered sugar. Mix well until the sugar is combined well into the mixture.
  • Then shape the laddus.
  • Besan laddu is ready!
