Creamy Butter Garlic Maggi

A rich and creamy butter garlic maggi recipe made without vegetables.

  • 35 g masala maggi
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • ½ tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 packet tastemaker
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp or 1 cube processed cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • ½ tsp red chilli flakes


  • Heat a saucepan over a medium flame/temperature. Pour oil and allow it to heat up.
  • Then add chopped garlic. Cook for a few minutes until it is fragrant or the raw smell goes away. The colour of the garlic should become slightly golden.
  • Pour water, Maggi tastemaker and salt. Give it a good stir. Bring it to a boil.
  • Once the water comes to a boil, add the maggi noodles.
  • Cover the saucepan with a lid. Lower the heat and cook for a minute.
  • Uncover and continue cooking over medium-high heat.
  • Cook for 2 minutes or until the noodles are almost cooked.
  • Add grated cheese and butter. Mix well.
  • Make sure the cheese and butter have melted completely.
  • Then add red chilli flakes. Give it a stir.
  • Transfer it to the serving bowl. Garnish with more butter and red chilli flakes.
  • Butter garlic maggi is ready to serve.
