Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Healthy, nutritious and filling summer cooler made with fresh strawberries and bananas. It is the perfect recipe to beat the heat during this Navratri festival.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cup fresh strawberry chopped
  • ½ cup banana chopped
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp honey or sugar as you prefer
  • 2 tbsp chopped almonds for garnishing
  • Strawberry slices for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Pour milk, yoghurt, banana and honey in a blender jar. Blend until smooth. Take out 1-2 tbsp of the mixture and keep aside for garnishing.
  • Add the chopped strawberries and blend again.
  • Place the moist strawberry slices in the glass and keep it in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  • Pour the smoothie into the serving glasses, drizzle with yoghurt-banana mix and sprinkle chopped almonds. Serve chilled.

Notes

Make sure the strawberry slices are moist before placing them in the glasses. Otherwise, they won't stick.
