Ingredients

  • 250 g chicken keema
  • ¼ cup roasted besan
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper powder freshly crushed
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • ¼ cup onion finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 green chilli deseeded and finely chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese as required (I have added 1 tsp cheese to each kabab)
  • 6-8 tbsp oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  • In a bowl, add chicken keema, besan, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, salt, garlic paste, ginger paste, chopped onion, coriander leaves and green chilli. Mix well.
  • Apply oil on your palms, take a little keema mixture, make a ball and flatten it.
  • Place a small ball of mozzarella cheese in the middle.
  • Bring the edges together and seal it well. Form a ball and flatten it. Make all the kebabs in the same manner.
  • Heat oil in a pan over a high flame/temperature.
  • Lower the flame to medium. Carefully drop the kebabs in the hot oil.
  • Shallow fry for a few minutes until the bottom sides of all the kebabs become golden brown in colour.
  • Flip them and cook the other sides until golden brown.
  • Serve chicken cheese kabab with ketchup or green chutney.
