Method
To roast or bake the kabuli chana/chickpeas:
- Preheat oven/OTG to 200-degree Celsius.
- In a large bowl, add oil and salt. Mix well.
- Then add the boiled chickpeas and toss them well. Make sure all the chickpeas are coated with the oil.
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Transfer the chickpeas to the tray.
- Spread them out in an even layer.
- Roast/bake the chickpeas for 30-40 minutes or until they become crisp and golden brown.
- Don’t forget to give them a stir occasionally, like every 10-15 minutes or so.
To make the chatpata roasted kabuli chana:
- Take the chickpeas out of the oven and transfer them to a bowl.
- Add the sukhi green chutney.
- Give the chickpeas a good toss.
- And serve them immediately.
