Creamy Tomato Pasta Recipe

Quick and easy tomato pasta that comes together in just 25-minutes. This can be the perfect midweek meal for the whole family.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup pasta
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup tomato puree
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 Maggi magic chicken cubes
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 1 tsp chilly flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • ½ cup processed cheese grated
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium flame. Add chopped garlic. Saute until fragrant.
  2. Then add chopped onions and cook for 2-3 minutes. Onions should soften slightly.
  3. Pour tomato puree and water. Crumble the chicken cubes and add them to the sauce. Season with salt and cook on high flame. After it comes to a boil, lower the flame and cook for 6-7 minutes.
  4. While the sauce is cooking, boil water in a pot. Add salt and pasta. Boil until pasta is al dente.
  5. Add oregano, parsley, chilly flakes and black pepper powder to the sauce. Give it a mix.
  6. Then drain the water and add pasta to the sauce. Toss to combine.
  7. Add grated cheese and butter. Mix well.
  8. Lower the flame and cook until the cheese has melted. Turn the flame off.
  9. Garnish with chilly flakes and parsley. Serve immediately.
