Crispy Corn Chaat Recipe

Ingredients
  

For crispy corn:
  • 1 cup sweet corn
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • tsp black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • 1-2 tbsp oil
For the chaat:
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum
  • ¼ tsp salt or to taste
  • ¼ tsp red chilli powder
  • tsp amchur powder
  • tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1-2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves

Method
 

  1. Preheat air fryer to 180-degree Celsius.
  2. Add sweet corn to boiling water. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Transfer the boiled corn to a bowl.
  4. Add corn flour, rice flour, salt, black pepper powder and chilli powder. Mix well.
  5. Drizzle oil and mix well.
  6. Transfer the corn to an air fryer. Spread them out in a single layer.
  7. Airfry for 15 minutes. Stir them. Airfry for another 15 minutes.
  8. Heat a pan over medium flame. Pour oil.
  9. Add onion and garlic. Cook until fragrant.
  10. Add capsicum. Cook for a few seconds.
  11. Add salt, red chilli powder, amchur powder and cumin powder. Mix well.
  12. Add lemon juice. Mix well.
  13. Add crispy corn. Give a good toss.
  14. Add coriander leaves. Mix well.
  15. Crispy corn chaat is ready to serve!
