Healthy Cabbage Momo Recipe

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tsp oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp ginger grated
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • ¼ cup grated cabbage
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 200 g grated paneer
  • ¼ cup chopped capsicum
  • ¼ cup chopped green onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 10 cabbage leaves
  • 1 tbsp oil

Method
 

  1. In a pan, add oil, garlic, ginger and onion. Cook until onions are translucent.
  2. Add carrot, cabbage, green chilli. Cook for 2 min.
  3. Add paneer, capsicum and green onion. Mix well.
  4. Add salt, black pepper, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and soy sauce. Mix well. Keep it aside.
  5. Boil cabbage leaves for 8-10 min.
  6. Trim off the hard part of the leaf.
  7. Add paneer filling on the leaf.
  8. Fold the sides and roll.
  9. Heat a pan over medium flame. Pour oil.
  10. Place the momos in the pan, seam-side down.
  11. Cook until they become slightly golden in colour.
  12. Flip and cook the other side as well.
  13. Serve hot with momo chutney.
