Coffee pudding shots are single-serving sized party dessert. These are mini, no-bake and easy sweet treats that are very simple to put together. Make them with just 6 ingredients under 20 minutes.

Coffee Pudding Shots

Coffee pudding shots are made with a few simple ingredients. Like custard powder, cocoa, coffee, sugar, milk and some chopped almonds for garnishing. That’s all you need to make this cute and attractive dessert. They’ll surely be a crowd-pleaser at your party.

To make this layered coffee pudding, bring milk to a boil. Then add sugar and custard mixture. Stir continuously until it thickens. Pour half of the custard into a bowl, add cocoa and coffee. Combine everything together. Fill half of the shot glasses with coffee custard and then pour vanilla custard on top. Refrigerate for half an hour. Then serve the chilled dessert shots to your guests.

Serves: 6 people

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp Pillsbury custard powder, vanilla flavoured
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp instant coffee
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp almonds, chopped

Cooking Directions:

Apply water on the rim of the shot glasses and dip into cocoa powder. Keep it aside.

In a bowl, add custard powder and 2 tbsp milk. Mix it well to make a smooth paste. Make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.

In a saucepan, pour the remaining milk and heat it over medium flame. Add sugar and bring it to a boil.

Once it comes to a boil, lower the flame and slowly pour the custard mixture into the milk. Stir continuously and cook for 2-3 minutes. The custard will thicken. Then turn the heat off.

Pour half of the custard into a bowl. While it is still hot add coffee powder and cocoa powder. Mix it well.

Fill half of the shot glasses with coffee custard. Then pour the vanilla custard into the glasses. Sprinkle chopped almonds over the top and keep the glasses in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
