About The Microwave:

Always keep in mind that every microwave is different. I have made this recipe in a 900W microwave. So check the wattage before you try this recipe. If you have a 1200W microwave then it will take less time to cook.

About The Mug:

I have used a 300ml microwave-safe mug in the recipe. If you are using a smaller or larger mug then adjust the quantity of the ingredients accordingly.

I have cooked maggi in two kinds of mugs. One is a little narrower and the other one is a little wider. But both are 300ml. Watch the following videos.

If you don’t want to make it in a mug, then you can also use a microwave-safe bowl.

Prep Time: 2 min | Cook Time: 3 minutes | Total Time: 5 min

Serves: 1 person

Ingredients:

35g Masala Maggi, broken into small pieces

3-4 tbsp pizza/pasta sauce

¾ cup water

2-3 tbsp sweet corns and capsicum, chopped

2-3 tbsp mozzarella cheese

1 tsp oregano, dried

Directions:

Take a microwave-safe mug. Break the maggi noodles and open the packet. Remove the tastemaker, we won’t be needing it for this recipe. Then add the noodles to the mug.

Pour water into the mug. Make sure it doesn’t rise above 1/3rd of the mug.

Take a microwave-safe plate and place the mug over it. If in case the water overflows from the mug then the plate will catch that.

Microwave for 1 minute. Take it out and give it a stir. Add sweet corn and chopped capsicum. Save some for later. Give it a good stir.

Again microwave for 1 minute. Then take it out. Stir well. You will notice that the maggi has fully cooked. If not then microwave it for 30 seconds. Then check if it’s completely cooked.

(If it’s still not cooked then keep cooking it at 30-second intervals while stirring in between. You may add a few tablespoons of water if the maggi looks dry.)

Add pizza/pasta sauce, mozzarella cheese and oregano. Then mix again.

Sprinkle mozzarella cheese, corn and capsicum over the top. Microwave it for 1 minute.

Then take it out and enjoy!
