These homemade popsicles are super tangy, flavourful and healthy. They are made with 3 kinds of juices. Orange, Pomegranate and Lemon. It is so simple to make. Just mix all the ingredients together, pour into popsicle moulds and freeze. Fruity ice pops are ready to serve!
Orange pomegranate popsicles are good for both adults and kids. Orange juice is rich in vitamin C, which helps in boosting your immunity. It is an excellent source of potassium which helps in regulating blood pressure. It contains flavonoids which can treat arthritis. Orange juice helps in stimulating the digestive system. It is filled with antioxidants that can help you in losing those extra pounds, make your skin look younger and beautiful.
Pomegranate juice is also rich in antioxidants and vitamin C. Did you know it contains more antioxidants than green tea and red wine? Yes, that’s right! It helps in removing free radicals, protects cells from damage and reduces inflammation. Pomegranate is an amazing fruit. It is a good source of vitamin A, vitamin E, vitamin K, folate and potassium. In a jug, pour orange juice, pomegranate juice and lemon juice. Give it a good stir.
Pour the juice mixture into the popsicle moulds. Sprinkle lemon zest over the top.
Secure the lids. Freeze for 6 hours or overnight, until they set completely.
To remove them, hold them under running water for 1 minute. You can also dip them into warm water for 10 seconds. The popsicles will slide out easily. Serve immediately!
